Molskine Notebook

My boss gave me a Molskine Notebook for Christmas last year. It's a nice little notebook and I made it a point to fill it up with drawings as quickly as possible (usually during car trips back home to western Pennsylvania). It ended up taking me the better part of a year, despite my best efforts to be 'quick' about it. The following pieces are a couple of the better ones.

Bubs,

Awesome, this is the "looser" stuff I was talking about a couple of months back. Glad to see it, not that I don't like Keef, et. al...EHMG

Thanks Topher, I'm glad you like the looser stuff too. I really like to do this type of illustration, but often feel like its too unfinished or sketch-y to share with anyone. So thank you for the kinds words encouragement. They're always appreciated.

Hey, it took me a while to see it, and I wondered why it looked so late 60's/early 70's to me, but the third sketch down is totally from a sticker that ol' Draper's got on something in the garage...does it say "Weekend Warrior" on it, maybe?

Heh! I dunno - do you mean the image of the guy looking up? It's interesting that you bring this sticker thing up. . . I don't remember seeing it anywhere before, but that certainly doesn't mean that I didn't. Do you remember what that sticker was on? If so, I'd definately like to see it. I wonder how close the two images are? It'd be totally rad if they were mirror images. . . I'd go a long way toward helping me answer where all this shit comes from! Thanks, EHMG
